PopVid Community Guidelines & Content Policy

Welcome to PopVid. We are committed to building a safe, respectful, and creative environment for roleplay, AI interaction, and video-based storytelling.

Our goal is to encourage creativity, storytelling, and immersive AI experiences while protecting users and the community from harmful, exploitative, or illegal content.

By using PopVid, you agree to follow the guidelines below.

1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use PopVid.

All characters, personas, and participants shown in publicly shared content must be represented as adults.

Sexual or exploitative content involving minors, young-looking characters, or characters whose age is unclear is strictly prohibited.

2. What We Encourage

PopVid is built around creativity, storytelling, and meaningful AI interactions. We encourage creators to create original, engaging, and immersive experiences.

We especially encourage:

  • Original AI characters with distinctive personalities and stories
  • Interactive roleplay with meaningful choices and emotional progression
  • Creative storytelling across romance, adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, anime, historical, slice-of-life, and other genres
  • High-quality AI-generated videos with creative concepts and strong visual storytelling
  • Respectful, original, and community-driven creations

3. Community & Content Standards

PopVid is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and creative community. Content and behavior that may cause serious harm to users or the community are not allowed.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Child sexual exploitation or abuse
  • Sexual content involving minors or young-looking characters
  • Non-consensual sexual exploitation
  • Credible threats of serious violence
  • Terrorism or violent extremism
  • Extreme or graphic real-world violence
  • Human trafficking, serious exploitation, or other serious illegal activity
  • Hate, harassment, or targeted abuse
  • Attempts to abuse, evade, or interfere with PopVid’s safety systems

Content that violates our core platform safety rules may be removed or subject to enforcement regardless of whether it is Public or Private.

4. Public Content Standards

Content shared publicly on PopVid may be viewed by other users and is therefore held to a higher standard.

Public Content Standards apply to Public Stories, characters, images, videos, thumbnails, usernames, posts, comments, and other publicly visible content.

Public content must comply with the standards below in addition to our general Community & Content Standards.

Content may not be eligible to be made Public even when it does not violate our core platform safety rules.

When determining whether content is appropriate for Public posting, we consider the content as a whole, including its context and overall presentation.

4.1 Sexual & NSFW Content

Public content must not include:

  • Explicit pornography or graphic sexual acts
  • Nudity or explicit exposure intended primarily for sexual purposes
  • Sexual exploitation or coercion
  • Non-consensual sexual content
  • Sexual content involving minors, young-looking characters, or age-ambiguous characters
  • Incestuous sexual content
  • Bestiality or sexualized animal content
  • Fetish content involving violence, self-harm, exploitation, or illegal activity

4.2 Sexualized or Suggestive Presentation

Content may be considered overly sexualized or suggestive based on its overall presentation, even when no explicit nudity or sexual activity is shown.

This may include:

  • Exaggerated or highly sexualized body proportions
  • Disproportionate visual emphasis on breasts, buttocks, hips, or intimate body areas
  • Repetitive bouncing, shaking, or movements that strongly emphasize sexualized body features
  • Sexually suggestive poses, gestures, or expressions
  • Camera angles, close-ups, framing, or animation designed primarily to emphasize sexualized body areas
  • Clothing, character design, movement, and framing that together create an overly sexualized presentation

The presence of any single characteristic does not necessarily mean that content violates our Public Content Standards. We consider the content as a whole and its overall context.

The absence of nudity or explicit sexual activity does not necessarily mean that content is appropriate for Public posting.

4.3 Violence & Harm

Public content must not include:

  • Graphic gore or mutilation
  • Realistic depictions of torture or severe abuse
  • Content promoting or encouraging suicide or self-harm
  • Content promoting serious violence or dangerous behavior
  • Instructions for illegal or dangerous activities
  • Weapons presented in a threatening, instructional, glorifying, or otherwise unsafe context
  • Terrorism, violent extremism, or credible violent threats

Fictional action, fantasy combat, or non-graphic depictions of conflict may be permitted when they are presented in an appropriate context and do not glorify or encourage real-world harm.

4.4 Hate & Harassment

Public content must not include:

  • Hate speech or discriminatory content
  • Content attacking or degrading people based on protected characteristics
  • Targeted harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, or intimidation
  • Doxxing or unauthorized sharing of another person’s private information

4.5 Illegal & Unsafe Content

Public content must not include:

  • Child exploitation material
  • Human trafficking or serious exploitation
  • Drug trafficking or illegal weapons activity
  • Fraud, scams, phishing, or malicious impersonation
  • Malware, hacking, or unauthorized access attempts
  • Content that meaningfully facilitates serious illegal or harmful activity

4.6 Real People, Privacy & Identity

Public content must not include:

  • Images, videos, or AI-generated content depicting identifiable real individuals without appropriate permission
  • Content intended to impersonate, deceive, harass, or exploit another person
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Unauthorized use of another person’s likeness in ways that violate their privacy, publicity, or other applicable rights

5. Respectful Community Behavior

We want PopVid to be a welcoming environment for creators and users.

When interacting with others:

  • Treat other users and creators with respect
  • Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, or target others
  • Do not spam, scam, or post unauthorized advertisements
  • Do not maliciously impersonate PopVid staff, other users, or other individuals
  • Keep discussions, collaboration, and feedback constructive
  • Do not intentionally disrupt community activities or abuse platform features

6. Privacy & Safety

To help protect yourself and others:

  • Do not publicly share personal, sensitive, or confidential information
  • Do not share another person’s private information without permission
  • Do not request passwords, payment details, authentication codes, or unauthorized account access
  • Do not attempt to bypass, manipulate, or interfere with moderation or platform safety systems
  • Be cautious when moving conversations or interactions outside PopVid

Users are responsible for protecting their personal information when interacting with others, especially outside the PopVid platform.

7. Moderation & Enforcement

PopVid may take appropriate action when content or accounts violate these guidelines.

Depending on the nature, severity, and frequency of the violation, actions may include:

  • Preventing content that does not meet our Public Content Standards from being posted publicly
  • Removing content that violates our core platform safety rules
  • Temporarily restricting the ability to submit Public content
  • Temporarily restricting certain account features
  • Temporarily suspending or permanently banning an account

A restriction on a specific piece of content does not necessarily mean that the creator’s account has been restricted.

Serious violations, repeated violations, abuse of platform features, or attempts to bypass PopVid’s safety systems may result in stronger enforcement actions.

Where appropriate, PopVid may provide information about the restriction and its reason through in-product notices or other available communication channels.

8. Reporting Violations & Policy Updates

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it through PopVid’s available reporting tools.

When submitting a report, please include relevant information whenever possible, such as screenshots, recordings, usernames, Story links, or a brief explanation of the issue.

Reports should be made in good faith. False, malicious, or abusive reporting may also result in moderation action.

These guidelines may be updated periodically to improve platform safety, respond to changes in our products and community, comply with applicable legal requirements, and support a better user experience.

When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the platform or other appropriate channels.

Continued use of PopVid following an update means that you agree to follow the latest version of these guidelines.
